Biophilic Design

Biophilic Design is an innovative way of designing the places where we live, work, and learn. Nature is needed in a deep and fundamental fashion, the way we have designed our cities and suburbs often degrades the environment and isolate us from nature. (www.biophilicdesign.net)

I came across this example of Biophilic design being used in Paley Park in Manhattan. I thought it looked airy and fresh which I will hopefully be able to implement ideas from this image into my design for the library.
